展現英語風采，訴(su)說微笑力量。5月18日下午，山東(dong)職(zhi)業(ye)學院第(di)一屆英語文化節開(kai)幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)題英語演講比(bi)(bi)賽在圖書館行政樓東(dong)報告廳(ting)舉(ju)行，學院副院長郭鵬出(chu)席開(kai)幕式并致辭(ci)，基礎部(思(si)政部)主(zhu)任賈明(ming)斌、團(tuan)委(wei)書記王(wang)偉、國際(ji)交(jiao)流中心(xin)主(zhu)任呂子泉蒞(li)臨比(bi)(bi)賽現場(chang)。
副院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)長(chang)郭鵬(peng)在致(zhi)辭中(zhong)指出，隨著我們(men)國(guo)家高(gao)鐵國(guo)際化戰略(lve)的(de)(de)推進(jin)實施和學(xue)(xue)(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)建設(she)優質(zhi)高(gao)職院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)校(xiao)的(de)(de)改(gai)革發展，培養(yang)高(gao)素質(zhi)應用型(xing)人才目(mu)標中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)生英語應用水平(ping)凸顯重(zhong)要(yao)性，此次隆重(zhong)舉辦我院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)第一(yi)屆(jie)英語文化節目(mu)的(de)(de)就是為(wei)了進(jin)一(yi)步突出英語學(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)的(de)(de)重(zhong)要(yao)性，鍛煉同學(xue)(xue)(xue)們(men)的(de)(de)英語口語及實際交流應用能力，營造(zao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)濃厚的(de)(de)英語學(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)氛(fen)圍，為(wei)打(da)造(zao)特(te)色(se)學(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)型(xing)校(xiao)園進(jin)行的(de)(de)一(yi)次非常有(you)益和有(you)意義的(de)(de)嘗試(shi)。
本(ben)屆英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)文(wen)(wen)化(hua)節歷時(shi)一個(ge)月(yue)，由基礎部、團委和國(guo)(guo)際交流(liu)中(zhong)心共(gong)同舉辦(ban)，是響應學(xue)(xue)院建設(she)國(guo)(guo)內領先、國(guo)(guo)際先進的(de)優質高職院校目標，通過開展英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)演講比賽(sai)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)文(wen)(wen)歌曲大(da)賽(sai)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)配音秀、英(ying)(ying)(ying)文(wen)(wen)海(hai)報(bao)比賽(sai)和英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)角等系列(lie)主題活(huo)動(dong)，旨在營造人(ren)人(ren)學(xue)(xue)習英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)、用(yong)好(hao)(hao)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)的(de)濃厚氛圍(wei)，提升大(da)學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)的(de)學(xue)(xue)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)、說英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)、用(yong)好(hao)(hao)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)的(de)水平，活(huo)動(dong)內容新穎豐富，貼近(jin)學(xue)(xue)習生(sheng)(sheng)活(huo)。
經過(guo)前期的(de)(de)(de)(de)預賽，最終有來自各系的(de)(de)(de)(de)15位選(xuan)手站上了(le)決(jue)賽的(de)(de)(de)(de)舞臺，他們(men)圍繞(rao)“The Power of Smile”為主(zhu)題展示英語演講風采，他們(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)演講或慷慨激昂、情感(gan)熱烈，或述說細膩、娓(wei)娓(wei)道來，加之與外(wai)教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)(de)(de)現場互動問答，贏得了(le)臺下觀眾的(de)(de)(de)(de)陣陣掌(zhang)聲。經過(guo)激烈的(de)(de)(de)(de)比拼，最終張嘉(jia)琳(lin)、袁(yuan)嘉(jia)賢(xian)、周(zhou)穎(ying)、曲昌、高雪菲5位同(tong)學榮獲(huo)了(le)此次比賽的(de)(de)(de)(de)一等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
