展現英(ying)語(yu)風采，訴說微笑力量。5月18日下(xia)午，山東(dong)職業(ye)學院第一屆英(ying)語(yu)文化節開幕(mu)式(shi)暨(ji)“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)題英(ying)語(yu)演講比賽在圖書館行政樓東(dong)報告廳舉行，學院副院長郭鵬出席開幕(mu)式(shi)并致辭(ci)，基礎(chu)部(bu)(思政部(bu))主(zhu)任賈明斌(bin)、團委書記王偉、國際交流(liu)中心(xin)主(zhu)任呂子(zi)泉(quan)蒞臨比賽現場(chang)。
副院長郭鵬(peng)在致辭(ci)中指出(chu)，隨(sui)著我們(men)國家高(gao)鐵(tie)國際(ji)化戰略的推進(jin)(jin)實(shi)施和學(xue)(xue)院建設優質(zhi)高(gao)職院校(xiao)(xiao)的改革發展，培養(yang)高(gao)素質(zhi)應用(yong)型人才目(mu)標中學(xue)(xue)生英語應用(yong)水平凸顯重(zhong)要性(xing)，此(ci)次隆(long)重(zhong)舉辦(ban)我院第一屆英語文化節目(mu)的就是(shi)為(wei)了進(jin)(jin)一步(bu)突出(chu)英語學(xue)(xue)習的重(zhong)要性(xing)，鍛煉同學(xue)(xue)們(men)的英語口語及實(shi)際(ji)交流應用(yong)能力，營造學(xue)(xue)院濃厚的英語學(xue)(xue)習氛圍，為(wei)打造特(te)色學(xue)(xue)習型校(xiao)(xiao)園進(jin)(jin)行的一次非常有(you)益(yi)和有(you)意義的嘗試。
本屆英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)文(wen)化節歷(li)時一個月(yue)，由基(ji)礎部、團(tuan)委(wei)和國際交流中心共同舉辦，是響應學(xue)(xue)(xue)院(yuan)建設國內(nei)領先、國際先進的(de)(de)優質高(gao)職院(yuan)校目標，通過開展英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)演講(jiang)比賽、英(ying)(ying)文(wen)歌曲大賽、英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)配(pei)音秀(xiu)、英(ying)(ying)文(wen)海報(bao)比賽和英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)角等(deng)系列主題活動(dong)，旨(zhi)在營(ying)造人(ren)人(ren)學(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、用好英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)的(de)(de)濃厚(hou)氛(fen)圍，提升大學(xue)(xue)(xue)生的(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)(xue)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、說英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、用好英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)的(de)(de)水平，活動(dong)內(nei)容新穎豐富(fu)，貼近學(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)生活。
經(jing)過前期的(de)(de)(de)預(yu)賽，最(zui)終(zhong)有來自各系的(de)(de)(de)15位選手站(zhan)上了(le)決賽的(de)(de)(de)舞臺，他(ta)們圍繞“The Power of Smile”為主題展示英(ying)語演講(jiang)風采(cai)，他(ta)們的(de)(de)(de)演講(jiang)或慷慨激昂、情感熱(re)烈，或述說細膩、娓(wei)娓(wei)道來，加之與外(wai)教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)(de)現場(chang)互(hu)動問(wen)答，贏得了(le)臺下觀眾的(de)(de)(de)陣(zhen)陣(zhen)掌(zhang)聲。經(jing)過激烈的(de)(de)(de)比拼，最(zui)終(zhong)張嘉琳、袁嘉賢、周穎、曲昌、高雪(xue)菲5位同學(xue)榮獲了(le)此次比賽的(de)(de)(de)一(yi)等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
