展現(xian)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)風采，訴說微(wei)笑力量(liang)。5月18日下午，山東(dong)職業學院第一屆英(ying)語(yu)(yu)文(wen)化節開(kai)幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主題英(ying)語(yu)(yu)演(yan)講比賽在圖書館行(xing)政樓東(dong)報(bao)告廳舉行(xing)，學院副院長郭(guo)鵬出(chu)席開(kai)幕式并致辭，基礎(chu)部(思政部)主任賈明(ming)斌、團委書記(ji)王偉、國際交流中心(xin)主任呂子泉蒞臨(lin)比賽現(xian)場。
副院(yuan)(yuan)長郭鵬(peng)在(zai)致辭中指(zhi)出，隨著我(wo)們國家(jia)高鐵國際化(hua)(hua)戰(zhan)略的推進實施和學(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)建設優(you)質高職院(yuan)(yuan)校的改革發展，培養高素質應用(yong)(yong)型人才目(mu)標中學(xue)生英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)應用(yong)(yong)水(shui)平凸顯重要性，此次隆重舉辦我(wo)院(yuan)(yuan)第一(yi)屆英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)文化(hua)(hua)節目(mu)的就是為了進一(yi)步突出英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)學(xue)習(xi)的重要性，鍛煉同學(xue)們的英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)口語(yu)及(ji)實際交(jiao)流應用(yong)(yong)能(neng)力(li)，營造(zao)學(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)濃厚的英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)學(xue)習(xi)氛圍(wei)，為打(da)造(zao)特色學(xue)習(xi)型校園進行(xing)的一(yi)次非常有(you)益和有(you)意義(yi)的嘗試。
本屆英(ying)語(yu)文化節歷時一個月，由基(ji)礎部、團委和國(guo)際交流中心共同(tong)舉辦，是響(xiang)應學院建設(she)國(guo)內領先、國(guo)際先進的(de)優質高職(zhi)院校目(mu)標，通過開展英(ying)語(yu)演講比(bi)賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)文歌(ge)曲大賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)語(yu)配音秀、英(ying)文海報比(bi)賽(sai)(sai)和英(ying)語(yu)角等系列(lie)主題(ti)活動(dong)，旨在營造人人學習英(ying)語(yu)、用(yong)好(hao)英(ying)語(yu)的(de)濃厚氛圍，提升(sheng)大學生的(de)學英(ying)語(yu)、說英(ying)語(yu)、用(yong)好(hao)英(ying)語(yu)的(de)水(shui)平，活動(dong)內容新穎(ying)豐富，貼近學習生活。
經過前(qian)期(qi)的(de)預賽(sai)，最終(zhong)有來(lai)自各(ge)系的(de)15位(wei)選(xuan)手站上了(le)決賽(sai)的(de)舞臺，他(ta)們(men)圍繞(rao)“The Power of Smile”為(wei)主題展(zhan)示英語演(yan)講風采，他(ta)們(men)的(de)演(yan)講或(huo)慷(kang)慨(kai)激昂、情(qing)感熱烈，或(huo)述(shu)說(shuo)細膩、娓娓道來(lai)，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)現場互動(dong)問答，贏得了(le)臺下觀(guan)眾的(de)陣(zhen)陣(zhen)掌聲(sheng)。經過激烈的(de)比拼(pin)，最終(zhong)張(zhang)嘉(jia)琳、袁(yuan)嘉(jia)賢、周穎(ying)、曲昌(chang)、高雪菲5位(wei)同學榮(rong)獲了(le)此(ci)次比賽(sai)的(de)一等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
