展現英語(yu)風采，訴說微笑力量。5月18日下午，山(shan)東(dong)職業學院第一屆(jie)英語(yu)文化(hua)節開(kai)幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)題英語(yu)演講比(bi)賽在圖書(shu)館行政樓東(dong)報告廳舉行，學院副院長郭鵬出席開(kai)幕式并(bing)致辭，基礎部(思(si)政部)主(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)任(ren)賈明(ming)斌(bin)、團委書(shu)記王偉、國際(ji)交流中(zhong)心主(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)任(ren)呂子泉蒞(li)臨比(bi)賽現場。
副院長郭鵬在(zai)致辭中(zhong)指出，隨(sui)著我們國家高鐵國際(ji)化戰略的(de)(de)推(tui)進(jin)(jin)實施(shi)和(he)學(xue)(xue)院建設優(you)質高職(zhi)院校(xiao)的(de)(de)改革發展，培養高素(su)質應用(yong)型人(ren)才目標中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)生英(ying)語(yu)(yu)應用(yong)水平凸顯重(zhong)要(yao)性(xing)，此次隆重(zhong)舉辦我院第一屆英(ying)語(yu)(yu)文化節目的(de)(de)就是為了進(jin)(jin)一步突出英(ying)語(yu)(yu)學(xue)(xue)習(xi)的(de)(de)重(zhong)要(yao)性(xing)，鍛煉(lian)同學(xue)(xue)們的(de)(de)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)口語(yu)(yu)及實際(ji)交流應用(yong)能力，營造學(xue)(xue)院濃厚(hou)的(de)(de)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)學(xue)(xue)習(xi)氛(fen)圍(wei)，為打造特色學(xue)(xue)習(xi)型校(xiao)園進(jin)(jin)行(xing)的(de)(de)一次非常有益(yi)和(he)有意義的(de)(de)嘗試。
本(ben)屆英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)文化節歷時一個月，由基礎部、團(tuan)委和國際交流中心(xin)共同舉辦(ban)，是(shi)響(xiang)應學院建設國內領先(xian)、國際先(xian)進的(de)(de)優(you)質高職院校目標(biao)，通過開展英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)演(yan)講比(bi)賽(sai)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)文歌曲大賽(sai)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)配音(yin)秀、英(ying)(ying)(ying)文海(hai)報比(bi)賽(sai)和英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)角等系列主題(ti)活動，旨在營造人人學習英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)、用好英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)的(de)(de)濃厚氛(fen)圍，提升大學生的(de)(de)學英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)、說(shuo)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)、用好英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)的(de)(de)水平，活動內容新穎豐(feng)富，貼近學習生活。
經(jing)過前期(qi)的(de)(de)(de)預(yu)賽(sai)，最(zui)終(zhong)有來自各系的(de)(de)(de)15位選手站上(shang)了決(jue)賽(sai)的(de)(de)(de)舞臺(tai)，他(ta)們圍繞“The Power of Smile”為主題展示英語(yu)演講風采，他(ta)們的(de)(de)(de)演講或慷慨激昂、情感熱烈(lie)，或述(shu)說細膩(ni)、娓(wei)娓(wei)道來，加之與(yu)外教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)(de)現場互(hu)動問答，贏得(de)了臺(tai)下(xia)觀眾的(de)(de)(de)陣(zhen)陣(zhen)掌聲。經(jing)過激烈(lie)的(de)(de)(de)比拼，最(zui)終(zhong)張嘉琳、袁嘉賢、周穎、曲昌、高雪菲5位同(tong)學榮獲了此次比賽(sai)的(de)(de)(de)一(yi)等(deng)獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
